Stardate: 18.08.2011 A much anticipated game known as Aliens Colonial Marines has still not been released to the game playing public. Although minor details have emerged the intrepid crew of the S.S.Platform32 journeyed to the E3 solar system in a bid to try and uncover more information about the game. Bur could they do it? Hell no, but there are some pretty pictures and an awesome competition to enter so you should totally watch it any way.

After seeing about 10 minutes of early gameplay of this game I'm rather disappointed. It seems rather linear and the scares are clearly heavily scripted (which is to be expected I suppose). What we heard about the game when it was first announced, however, was that this was to be an rpg based in the Aliens universe, and that's not what we're getting. To be honest I was just hoping for a highly modified Borderlands with Aliens. Alas, that's not what happened :/

I am so glad they are focusing on the Marines with this game. They don't get enough love. This game is like the classic film, I love the Marines. Playing an alien isn't scary at all, I can't even take it seriously. And playing an alien has nothing to do with the film. Go Marines! X3 THIS is what I have been waiting for!
