  • her english is more than acceptable. Her accent is anything but spanish.

If you want to listen to an "accent", listen to letizia from spain speaking english ... and compare. Maxima's english is great.

  • It's a matter of fact that people with other native languages than English will speak it with an accent!

But isn't it true that even within the states or the uk people have different accents?

The same would happen with all the other languages!

The accent doesn't measure the knowledge.

    Learn to focus.

And sit your asses and learn another language.

Listen to yourselves, look at yourselves. Make of yourselves better persons And make the world a better place.

  • smart princess

  • She does not have a spanish accent

  • @dekubaner Her degree in economics is impressive. She's become one of my role models!

  • Maxima is an extremely bright woman. She knows Spanish, English, and Dutch - being trilingual is amazing and she has proven to be a very competent and intelligent woman prior to becoming a Dutch royal.

  • Máxima was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal and has a " Porteño Accent", legacy of many thousands of Italian immigrants. The award-winning Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges refers to the Argentine porteños as "Individuals who speak Castilian-accented Italian and think like Englishman"

Letizia was born in Asturias,Spain. A totally different accent.

  • WOW .. What a classy TRI-LINGUAL lady Princess Maxima is, her accent is totally adorable and the inflections from Argentina, Netherlands and even her English all shine through in a lovely way, she is an absolute asset to the Netherlands Royal Household and she and Prince Willem seem so very happy together too, and they have adorable daughters as well... BRAVO Princess Maxima... Regards from Wales UK :0)x

  • lol she has a dutch accent! this is funny i thought it would be spanish, cause she speaks dutch with a spanish accent and english with a dutch one =] i freaking love her!

  • @illshowyouwhat her accent doesn't sound spanish, because you're used to hear the accent from Spain. Accents vary tremendously in the spanish language, (like in english: American vs British). Maxima is from Argentina... this nation's spanish sound more like Italian if I had to compare it to anything else.

  • no comprendo como se atreven a ensuciar el nombre de una persona de la cual conocen sòlo algunas cosas publicadas, quienes les han confirmado que ella no ayude a su pais? uds mismos que hacen para ayudar a su propia gente? veo mucha ignorancia y cruzada de brazos en la argentina...and for the people who just stays with the way she speaks is so brain limited and I feel pity for them. Go Max Go!
