Bushmaster sells a .040" taller front sight post for this problrm ($5.50). Also works well if you use the improved battle zero. It keeps the sight post from coming up out of the detent.

You use your front sight for elevation.

Why even leave a video up when you know you made a mistake. Not everyone takes the time to follow links in videos. I've purchased CAA products, and they work

@juanriv01 The whole point is that I don't only leave up the videos that make me look smart. I admit when I'm wrong and I state it in the annotations. This is my first experience with CAA., so they may have fine products for all I know. Thanks for watching.

Try reversing your sight adjustment. Front sight Down and Rear sight up! I think your best bet is to either buy a bore sight or take it to an FFl dealer/ Gun store to adjust it for you. I hope this helps! Good luck

@hartncali When I bought this handle, it was only meant to be temporary until I could afford a better fixed rear sight without the handle. That way I can mount an optic as well. I’ve gotten rid of this handle and am saving up for a new rear sight. I’ll keep the reverse adjustment in mind. Thanks!

@GunsKnivesSurvival hey man, google f marked front sight base, that is your problem. F marked is for flat top m4 style guns, but many companies still use standard FSB. I had the same issue, i had to order a .4 taller front sight post from bushmaster and it resolved the issue.
Hope this helps
