I was kidding! I actually think he is great! I had the opportunity to train with him once back in the early 80's and it was a very enlightening experience. The old goat was meant in a joking way!

He's got a great sense of humor, too. He brought most of the very best karateka in history to Mpls at one time or another. When he got tired during master seminars, his trick was to pick up his movie camera and film them teaching while we kept sweating. He must have hundreds of hours of historically significant video at the bottom of his closet. It'd be great if some of it made it to YouTube. Career and family pulled me away but, Gawd, he taught me a lot while I was there!

shit y did i left the dojo, thats it im returnin to karate trainin, sensei didnt teach that cool stuff when i was there, maybe coz i was a lower belt, i am ready to go back

It's good to see old Bob's finally made his way onto youtube. You teach a fine Shotokan Karate Class, Sensai Fusaro! His "Kia!"'s always used to blow me away. Loudest got-dang "KIA!" I ever did hear. I would like to see Sensai Fusaro create his own series of youtube web diary.

Yes! Sensei Fusaro just celebrated his 50th Anniversary of teaching Karate on August 2, 2008. He is an amazing inspiration to his students. . . and a wonderful person.
