@Flamorgan Yes got it in one. "Acacia Park" is the latest in their long list of giveaway land. "Come and live in Acacia Park" goes the ad. "Once the pride of Basildon residents, now the honeypot of councillors incomes!" It wouldn't be anywhere near so bad if the guilty had to live here in this town!

It might look like a dive to outsiders, but it's home.
Been a few years since it looked like that though. The metal man statue-thing is now in Wat Tyler park, the escalators to Basildon Bowl were removed after many an accident, and some shops have changed.
Still as miserable and grey as ever though :P

Maybe someone needs to take another movie clip from the same position to compare the changes in the five years since I took the original.
