"33 1/2" (2004, 16min. Mexico)
After four succesful years on the festival circuit, underground horror filmmaker Aaron Soto decided to experiment with regular themes far away from his horror & fantastic themes. The short never mean to be seen outside of the locals screenings in Tijuana, ironicly, "33 1/2" became Soto first mainstream hit in Mexico, winning multiple awards across the country, including Best Short Film Fiction in the National VideoFest and Special Jury Prize at the prestigious Morelia International Film Festival. "33 1/2" play it once in the U.S., afterwards Soto shut it down and never play it again.

Aaron Soto's Escandalos Production company was the subject of a retrospective at the FanTasia Film Festival in Canada.
