Wearing something without worshipping the object isn't the same as wearing it with the intention that it will bring good luck. "Luck" is a pagan goddess.

Shaykh Salah is a humble and righteous man. May Allah reward him with Al Firdaus...ameen. Yes, wearing a ring for a man is sunnah and there has been some debate in regards to which hand but most agree on the right hand and wear it only on the ring and pinky finger. I love the hadith where the Prophet wore a ring with a black stone and out of humbleness he turned the stone towards his palm....Mash'Allah

@spyx5 Thats a sunnah! wearing stone ring especially ateeq.(i hope stone name is correct). so before calling judgement on a person who has knowledge, have fear of aLLAH(swt)as even the greatest scholor used to ask for mercy on the pervious scholors or the scholor of their time first, if they had disagreement or difference of opinion.Don't fall into the ludicris ideologies of time, self claimed scholors and people of biddah,who do nothing but injustice to themselves and to Islam. Allah Knows rest
