Observation(s):
- Ute cuts in front of semi-trailer (to park)
- right turns on to King William Street

Conditions: Warm, high 20's (Celsuis)

Date/Time: Tuesday, 17 Feb 2009

Current Road Toll:

What: Driving Diary (12 month experimental project)

Where: South Australia

Why: To record 12 months of my life driving, and in the process reflect on my own driving behaviour and to possibly highlight how other ppl's behaviours can impact negatively on us. Accidents can be so easily avoided.

Sound: I only keep one CD in the car and change that weekly, so there will be some repetition. GPS also makes a few sounds and audible directions.

This is for educational (not punitive) purposes, it is my belief that citizens shouldn't police other citizens.

  • It's not that the truck didn't want past you but instead I think he wanted to be a movie star :D

  • lol - I wouldn't put it past him, people will just do anything to be on film!

  • For a day on the Adelaide streets, that was pretty good.

  • I was really chuffed about it actually that day, sure there were some other 'incidents' near me, but off cam - and that is all I focus on here - exactly what occurs in front of me.

    The white ute who pulled in front of the semi surely didn't enjoy the thought of being run over with the narrowest of margins (by a larger car with cars on top of it) - yet some drivers still drive like this as a method - why invite this stress into our lives? Do men really need to engage in risk taking behaviour?
