Our DU weapons are only 83.73% u-238 and have
uranium-235,uranium-236...plutonium-238, plutonium-239, plutonium-240, neptunium-237, Protactinium-231, Protactinium-233, thorium-231, thorium-234, Americium-241, Technetium-99.
At 1.15% u-238, can be used in a atomic reactor.
can u say fuel rods from atomic reactors?

DEPLETED URANIUM IS KILLING US...and who's fault is that...ours...so why don't we change the way this world is ran and vote all the people who have been in congress for too long...out of there...just vote the imcumbents out.....vote for someone new....this is the PEOPLE'S PARTY.....let's do something about this

i am unaware of where he got his information that 40% of it sahves off but it is untrue. all of the health hazard's reported as "caused by DU" have never been proven that it was caused by DU. also the US is NOT the only country that uses DU, here is a list of other countries that use it too: the UK, France, Russia, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Pakistan, Thailand, Iraq and Taiwan. thank you that is all...

ATTENTION... This video states that that Depleted Uranium is hazardous. That is not true. DU is ONLY harmful if taken internaly, this would require it to be swallowed, breathed in while DU is in a gas state, or if shot by a DU bullet. in contrast to what he said 40% of it does not shave off. it is only used as armor piercing rounds.

Do you doubt that the use of Depleted Uranium Munitions exist? The Military has never disputed their use. Any sane person must object to their use. Simple as that!

I feel ashamed and naive for assuming that our military would never knowingly subject our soldiers and innocent civilians to such horrors. Sadder still is the fact I feel powerless to do anything about it, because getting involved will steal time away from watching Scott Baio is 45 and Single on VH1.
If it moves any of you who are not as hopelessly indifferent as myself, please start the revolution. I promise I'll join as soon as I find out if Chachi conquers his fear of commitment.
