My godfather, now 93 years, fought in Caucasus with SS Wiking. As a youngster, he took it as an adventure and a way to get a job with proper salary and good grub. No fascist thoughts, only they didn´t care where they fought against the ruskies. Brave men and peace to those sleeping in the Ukranian steppes.

It sickens me to think that members of the various non-German SS detachments were routinely handed over to the soviets at the end of the War. These men fought like lions against the soviet terror state. Rest in peace.

Thank you - my mother's family fought in this war. Her three brothers were at the Front and she was a nurse in a field hospital.

LOL who the fuck says we hate the germans? Not even in Lapland.
Dietl and Steiner were the most well liked germans here. Not to mention a finn maried Heydrichs wife because her last name was giving her some problems.
Rudiger von der Goltz is also an eternal hero here.
