I think it's a great song. Mariah's version is beautiful but its more or less for a soprano voice. Lady Antebellum has the compliment of the alto and tenor voice. So I think it's great that she did a cover and its still beautiful.You can hear the contrast of alto and soprano through the different versions and it shows that even an alto can make the song beautiful like Mariah did. (:

I don't like Mariah Carey much as she is a screamer and a screecher. But this song is one of hers that I do enjoy.. I think it's her best song/recording. However I like this Lady A version (and also the Michael Buble version) better. But there's nothing wrong with liking all three versions. Besides it's a matter of taste and opinon. Merry Christmas to all.

I love this song! Personally, I like this version much better than Mariah's. But everyone has their own opinions. They're OPINIONS. Not FACTS. Nobody is right, nobody is wrong. And you can't prove anyone right or wrong, so get over it and enjoy the song.
