Haha! 200,000 casualties? Are you serious? What do they have besides old, very bad copies of the T-72 that are worse than the T-72M and T-62s? If they are a "threat", it would be in artillery. Even those are useless in combat. Thankfully, the South would slaughter NK.

@Mustardmonkey1 Im not debating Seoul would fall and the south would win. I do think that if WE were giving first strike (not likely) and we had a president that would give full stretegic command to the military (Also unlikely) we COULD prevent them with proper air strikes and SOCOM troops. To be honest the way it would play out is--- NK would Level Seoul, SK and US and NATO would hit back ahrd and we'd ride in like we did to bagdad in Gulf War 1, I do think we sould let every oen calm down thow

@tapp40 Nobody doubts that the North would soon lose to the bettter equiped South, but that's not the point. The point is that if war broke out, Seoul would be flattened in a mattr of hours, and that's a FACT. The artillery units the North has are so vast, and so heavily reinforced, and so widely dispersed, that the only way to prevent seoul being flattened would be for the U.S to blanket the area with nukes, but then the fallout would kill everyone in seoul anyway.
Best thing to do is wait.

@tapp40 Thanks for the reply and no I don't know everything about geopolitics but I am trying to learn and understand. Good luck to you all over there including the people of NK because as with all nations it's the leaders not the people who are causing all the problems :( This much I am sure of.
