Lovely video tae watch. Grandparents and Mum born and raised in Balloch. I was born at Braeholm in Helensburgh and am wantin' tae visit fae Canada. No as beautiful as it was I have heard. No matter tae me, I'm comin' tae have a peek fer masell. Great nostalgia......Thanks

My last name is Balloch believe it or not.

This is brilliant - My family run a business in Loch Lomond Marina now - its amazing to see the old shed where we have just built a new workshop and showroom. And youll notice Jimmy Brittains old houseboat which is now over on John Sweeneys side since Jimmy passed away. He has resotred it and it looks even better now than it did then! I remember a lot of the old Balloch - the old station, Joes cafe at corner of the bridge on sweeneys side. Great to see - thanks for posting!
