while we all admire the ideals...
where is the reality?
-
@Perfectphase Yep. Sure does.

Everything I've read below in regards to thegeekgroups political beliefs. When I become a multimillionaire. You will get funding from me, no doubt.

The Avalon idea reminds me of the final idea in the film Accepted. Provide the support and resources to allow people to learn what they want in the way they want.

Listening to you talk about the music end of things. I'm a 22 year old semi-pro trumpet player and DJ. Though I'm down in Ohio, I'd love to help you guys in some way teaching people anything relating to my two main passions. You are a truly inspiring guy and the GG is awesome.
Btw, do you have a video on your recording studio gear? If not, I'd love to see one. My buddy and I own a DJ and recording company and I'd love to see what you have in that sense. Check out Prophecy Speaker Co. btw.

NPR is to the "Left?" I hadn't noticed.
Both the "Right" and the "Left" media don't deliver just "news." They, after a fashion, also tell you HOW to think.
NPR delivers real news and leaves it up to me to form my own ideas and opinions.
All mass media, Left or Right, is for group-thinking sheeple. NPR is for people that like to think for themselves.

I'm surprised you like NPR. They are far left and you are a believer in the second amendment, it seems. The left is trying to take away your right to carry.

I'm a vehement supporter of *all* of the amendments, not just the second one. I have a pretty strong disdain for politics in general, and even more for "political correctness".
I'm big on personal liberty, freedom to live ones life and be responsible for my own decisions. I'm all over the political spectrum because if you go to either the Left OR the Right you'll find a staggering lack of Logic, Reason, and Common Sense in either direction.

Wake up! There is no middle ground.

There is always a balance. The left wants to take my guns, the right wants to take my porn. If we would learn to use Intellect instead of Emotion to make our decisions, taking from each side the best they have to offer, then our country would be built on the ideals it was intended. Instead we're using fear and greed to shape our country in this generation, taking the worst from each side.
This is not the country I was promised as a boy. I'm fighting to make it better.
