I was lucky enough to meet Sonny when he was a congressmen. And over time, I got to talk to him about he and Cher. It was very easy to see that he was still in love with her. He said they hurt each other too much to stay married, but they would both, always love each other.

I love watching it over and over...cuz it's just evidence that Cher did (and still does) care very much for him <3 And yes...you can see emotion all over her while she is speaking.

I wish this would go to DVD coz I don't remember alot of it. But I remember watching David Letterman that night and crying like a buffon too...and like could we quit it with the nasty comments about her havng sex iwth the navy? Was your mother doing it with themtoo? Shut the fuck up!

I cried at the end too! I saw Cher a few years ago, and her show has a part about Sonny and a lot in the audience were affected by that too. Cher's a great artist.
