@naganokumas it would take far too long for the conversion to set in. We'd pretty much have to reeducate the entire population in mathematics which the government isn't trying to spend money on.
@philly4lyfe215 Thank you for your response.
Australia went metric in 1966. For about a decade, or two, it spoke in two scales. These happened to be my first two decades.
Now it's clear cut apart from old cliches and other references that persist pleasantly in the vernacular.
But Australia had, at the time, a big effort made in its educational budget.
It is sad to hear that the USA doesn't want to/can't afford an effort in its educational budget.
Gambatte!!

All respects to Reese Hoffa, the posting of this video, and all USA has done, etc. But I'm curious to know when the USA will go metric.
It seems to be the last significant bastion refusing to snap out of the old system. Why? Why not?
This posting, whilst being a most enjoyable appreciation of Reese Hoffa, also stirred me to quiz the metric conversion consideration.
When might it happen? Will it happen?
Dear Americans, what is your stance on metrification?
What's the hold up?
Forgive me.
