A freaky occurrence involving an aircraft model. A little funny thing that I wanted to share and a tribute to Revell Quality Control. I do apologize for the sound and shaky video, not as much preparation went into this as I wanted to. But enjoy the silliness nonetheless!

  • how to fix it? how did you fix this? many other people would just ring up and ask for spare parts.

  • @lightfootlad um, yes, that is what I did, I had never experienced this prior to the uploading of this video, and I was unsure about how to go about getting spare parts. I went to Revell's site, made an inquiry, and they directed me to exactly where I needed to go, asked for the parts,I received them, and used the quick model to practice some methods, many centered around decals and seam repair.

  • Do you make videos out of every small problem you encounter? If I did, I wouldn't have much time to live my life. This might seem absolutely amazing to you, but to most other people it's no more than a minor irritation. If I were you I'd remove this video & spare yourself any further embarrassment.

  • @lightfootlad If your accusations had any merit, I think we would be looking at a different channel. This video's purpose was to bring to the community a problem I had, and how to fix it. I have received this help very gratefully as well as heard from many other model builders of their similar experiences. Please do not comment on any more of my videos as you are hampering this process. When you feel that your terrible videos have contributed something, please feel free to return to YouTube

  • Maybe the guy that got two pairs of wings will see this video :))

  • I HATE Ravell. I ONLY buy Tamiya after getting one of Ravell's planes (forgot the name). The instructions unclear and sloppy. Just didn't like it at all. I highly suggest Tamiya. If you're new, get the easier models. I'm only 12, and I got a German model today, but it was too easy and traded it in for a more difficult one (Which turned out to be bigger, not more difficult -.-). But yeah.

  • @Slipknotfan90000 Try the Tamiya kits, they are good quality and nice to build.

  • I tend to keep to the Tamiya kits because they are much better quality and troublefree kits to build. I know Tamiya can be a little expensive, but i don't mind paying for the quality. Some other kit manufacturers come out with some dreadful kits that i wouldn't touch with a barge pole!!

  • @lightfootlad you miserable git. This guy is doing other model builders such as myself a big favour by warning us about the problems with this particular kit. If I wanted to spend my money on the exact same kit, then i would surely ask the model shop staff to open the box and show me the contents before i part with my money!! Go and get yourself a real hobby like train spotting or something.

  • thats why i only do Tamiya-line products
