Except for the internment camps FDR was a genius.

Conservatives in America suck. Competent conservatives (BIsmarck, Lee Kuan Yew, Disraeli) seem to come from anywhere but the US

I don't see what was so great about Nixon. We had a good economy with the LBJ administration, with an economic growth of 4.5%, where as Nixon cannot say that.

fixerupper1,
I read and study history as a hobby

Its humorous the people who point to Nixon as this evil and unethical leader,
But either dont know or give a "free ride" to other Presidents who've savaged our constitution, committed theft, treason, assassination(s) murder and even mass murder (LBJ definitely makes this list)

Problem is they only know what the media's told them and that's not too much!

I'm in complete agreement with you're view on this subject

When you think of the 1,000,000 boys that were not standing in the unemployment line, or in the employment pools, istead they were in and out Vietnam from 1965 to 1973.
The liberal democrats like LBJ have always been willing spend other peoples money.
The great society had good intentions no doubt, but it morphed into a monster.
LBJ was unfortunately more paranoid than Nixon.
It took Nixon to full inplement the Civil rights bill, and to bring an end to Nam.
Its all in a point of view.

We have one option on the JFK conspiracies, that is to accept the Warren commision final analysis.

Most people all over the world have already concluded that JFK was killed becuase he got in the way of LBJ and Vietnam. People suspected LBJ in the death of JFK early on. Even in Texas that was the back street consensus. The death of kennedy kept bobby Baker and Lyndon out of prison. A lot of good people died becuase of this thing.

There are so many Kennedy conspiracy theories, and personally, I don't believe any of them. I will only believe the conspiracy theories if they are proven to be facts.

ctcole was right- Plus the Voting Rights Act too, and the Wilderness Act as well. Plus the Great Society- while our economy continued to grow. He was one of the best, not one of the worst.
