Interesting, I've noticed when I go camping I feel healthier.

I'm all for going off the grid. But I would have solar, wind and water power. Electricity is almost a necessity and no longer just a luxury. I admire this woman for what she is doing though.

@verityandstu im not saying that she is not, i am just saying that she has some problems due to her excessive drug use. she fried her own brain and now can not funtion in the world so she moves under a bridge. just like 95% of the homeless in america.

Tell you what though, Emma Orbach's an inspiration. She's had the conviction to leave behind a lot of the trappings of Western materialism, she's living with a much greater sense of connection to the natural world than a lot of people do, and causing a lot less damage than a lot of people do. She might not fit the received conventions of what someone 'should' look like, or live like, or behave like - but who gives a monkey's! x

@barkershill Kind of and I notice the ones that drive unsafely are the ones that have a cell phone up to their head maybe the cell radiation interferes with that unknown natural ability we have taken for granted? A person on the cell will drive and never fails they will get into the absolute worst place usually a blind spot on a truck or car. Slow lane changes have saved me almost as much as keeping better than average following distance. Thanks for the reply.Ron Paul 2012

@cdltpx You mean a bit like cars going up a three lane carriageway?

Serious clinical problems? These people? (there's only one on this clip) Asking mother nature to provide wildfowl surgery? Missing the point entirely? I think those ducks might be round your place first.

@doinworksonnnnn I like how you insult people who have done nothing to hurt you or even know you. She's living her own way of life, you should do the same and release some of that hate inside.

@AbattoirDream Every journey starts with a single step... Lock yourself out of the house :D

seriously these people are nuts...not because of the way they live but because they have some serious clinical problems... you should ask mother nature to have on of those ducks rip that thing off your face.
Emma lives at Brith Dir Mawr which is a huge and lovely landholding. She now has sectioned off her own 40 acre parcel, but is still very much in touch with the rest of the community, about 20 of them altogether, but she wants to be Queen of her own domain and is looking for others who share her approach
