Too fast for a 400A.

what did these use to be?

The Austin Centre elevators are also glass, but since it's in the office part of the building, then it is closed off, and I didn't want to get caught by security. As with Schindler, this might be a 500A series elevator. So, the speed might be more like 700 FPM.

There's no death trap, and this is a 500A gearless elevator.

@CaptainElevator42189 This might be a 400A mod, but I am not concluding anything. Schindler typically uses those chimes on 400A mods/models.

Yes, I know, because with the Schinder high performance traction elevators, they have the beep floor signal.

These used to be Westinghouse traction elevators.

The Omni in Charlotte has Westinghouse elevators and is a black glass building.

Wow, that's amazing, and I was amazed that I got the elevators in this building.
