which is better XF8 or Tyros4???

@Ambiguous07 The Tyros 4 will give you good sounds without you having to do too much. The Motif XF8 will give you good sounds, perhaps even better than the Tyros, but it's more user-intensive. The Motif XF is more expandable in my opinion and offers a greater variety of tools and software. If you are playing live, go for the Tyros. If you are in the studio, or just want a more feature-packed keyboard, I'd say go for the XF. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

Tyros 4 or XF8...????m first of all, tyros is arranger,motif is pro studio synth...tyros got super articulation voices, motif got just sweet voices, tyros got styles, motif got arppeggios...u cant compare them...both keyboards are outstanding...sounds on both the best i ve ever heard!!!!, i am getting motif xf8 now for a 14 days, i got before many many keyboards. psr s910, fantom g7, motif xs7, tyros 3...i sell them all because i will get xf8 now, and in fiew months tyros 4...:)

I got mine! I got mine! I got my very own (and very first I must say), Motif Workstation...XF. I'm so excited to see what it has in store. Hmm, I wonder if there are any courses I can take on how to operate this sexy beast.

@johnny102marvin Yes, it's a pretty firm rumor that the Tyros 4 will be with us soon! Along with a large price tag....but it should be interesting!

@AndrecJC ---- I didn't realize that a Tyros 4 was coming out this September. I want to see this. I am enthralled with the Tyros 3....so how can it get any better...but I guess it can. I am looking forward to the Tyros 4. But, I doubt that there will be too much of a reduction in price for the Tyros. If you price a Tyros 2 it costs just a little bit less than a tyros 3.

@johnny102marvin Really, I think the best way to go is the Yamaha Motif XS. The XF should drop the price on the XS down to under 2000. The same will be true when the Tyros 4 is released in September of this year. But the Motif series offers great expandability which is great. In my opinion, the Motif offers much more than the Tyros for the same or cheaper price.

I have played both keyboards and am leaning to the Motif now, at least until the Tyros 4 comes out.
