I LOVE Youtsuba&! and I didn't say that it was a bad manga or anything??? It's really cute. Instead of making MY comment into spam, why don't you instead try to understand what I'm saying here?? O_O

Yotsuba&! is a manga series, the creator, Azuma, says he has no plans to create an anime adpation of it.

My life spirals into deep depression every time I think that this will never be brought to video of any sort. Even just a simple movie? (Although a full anime series is better.)

It's stupid that Kiyohiko Azuma doesn't want Yotsuba to be an anime! The manga is so animated that it would be a perfect anime.

In English usage, manga (and anime) refer exclusively to the Japanese comics (and cartoons).

@che3se1495 It can also generally mean any cartoon (except animated ones, which are referred to as "animeshun" in Japan or "anime" for short). In English-speaking countries, however, manga refers to the comics of Japan and its style, but it doesn't actually mean that anywhere else. This is probably because no one seems to bother to learn the language before they start spitting out words and yet they have no idea what those words actually mean.

Manga is just the Japanese word for COMIC, and it refers to any comic, not just Japanese ones....
