R-Tech Golf GTI 1.8T AUM Me7.5 ecu, rolling road session testing new WOT gear shift mapping, which allows the drive to change up and down the gear box without lifting the throttle, very smooth and quick changed without grinding. A soon as the clutch is pressed the ecu cuts back the engine load and changes the timing. We have also found that if we keep the fuel going in and change the timing map we can get a simlar affect to anti turbo lag, we just need more time to work on this part.

So far our remap can offer:

2 step or 3 step launch control with traction control

R-Techs Unique Direct-DBW throttle mapping, to give a feel of a throttle cable.

Brake and Boost, left foot braking which allow the drive to brake and keep the turbo fully loaded, ideal for rolling starts, and track days.

And now WOT gear shift mapping.

Next project: To see if we can refine the anti lag turbo mapping.
