L'Invité · DVD menu animation I

I spent a few days scanning and animating food utensils for this french movie's DVD. This is the "extras" menu.

In this case, I turned a corkscrew into a vector path and sprayed a ton of copies around using shape layers in AE... Probably impossible to notice in YouTube's highly compressed version, but this has multiple, fine-detailed strokes cycling and everything is repeated by the dozen using the great Repeater.

As it's happening to me lately, the secondary animations end up being more acceptable than the main... uhm...dish.
