God do I get a kick out of Stephen Fry. I was watching clips of comedians all day, which is lovely, but I wanted something out. I wanted to hear someone who spoke well and about interesting things, not just dirty gags, real ideas.

Nationalism is not hating other countrys, unless its under threat by them or being hurt by them in some way. Hate & anger occurs when you are emotionally hurt. Its nature's defensive survival mechanism, if defeated leads to tears, which is another survival strategy. To stop the hate and the tears, stop the conditions that result in pain. Sometimes nationalism is confused with aggressive expansionism. Patriotism and nationalism are related words, so Fry, bless him, is quite wrong here.
