@jchskate - The original charger from Olympus is selling around $44.99, we sell this one at $16.99 and it has a USB port to charge cell phones... not sure what you mean by easier to buy a new one. There are some other versions out there for less that don't have the USB port, so if that's what you'd rather have you can always go that route, but they are not official Olympus chargers.
