In case you're considering upgrading your stock exhaust and wondering what the GM Cat-Back exhaust sounds like. GM Part Number #17803094
Performance, Single Exhaust, For Use on 2.4L (LE5) and 3.5L (LZ4) Engines

K&N OEM Replacement Air Filter part number: 33-2315

  • Sounds a little more gutteral, without being having obnoxious volume. Have you noticed any real-life noticeable power gains since putting on the K&N and Cat-Back system?

  • Replacing the exhaust made a HUGE difference in the way the car performs. The stock exhaust is way too restrictive, not to mention too quiet. Also, the fuel consumption dropped by as much as 20% so this exhaust will pay for itself down the road - highly recommended.

The K&N makes a little bit of difference but nothing spectacular as it is only an OEM replacement - there is no cold air intake for this particular year of G6.
