Dr. Nasri Kawar, professor of entomology at the American University of Beirut and a Chadwick/MESC invited speaker, gives a small anecdote from the time he was leading the Tannourine Cedar forest rescue mission.
Dr. Kawar was part of the project "Integrated Management of Cedar Forests in Lebanon in Collaboration with other Mediterranean Countries" aimed at saving the biggest Cedar reserve in Tannourine, Lebanon from a deadly insect pest.
