The prelude is marked in double meter...can anyone give me insight as to why he plays the sixths as if they were simply 6/8? Personally, I play them in duple...I find the interplay between the two metres to be fascinating.

richter the great bach interpreter:majestic,fascinating in rhythm,flawless in technique and despite of the piano preparation it sounds great and clear.he was one of the greatest in playing bach.
