Those stores are just amazing aren't they? The whole kawaii-overloading-my-senses plays a big part in the initial awe, lol. I was like "OMG WHAT IS THIS CUTENESS?!" when I went to a super cute little goods store in a mall outside of Tokyo. What made it even more "kawaii" was that one of the staff-chan had her daughter there and she was helping out and was the cutest thing ever. I almost died from the cuteness of it all. Japan knows how to play it up in the kawaii section, hahaha!

Oh my god you look so happy there. You remind me of the exact way I acted when I went to the first Sanrio store i had seen in like 3 years when I went to LA.It was so perfect and I am absolutely obsessed with hello kitty, I was on the verge of tears and the Japanese sales girls were giggling at me.
I would probably just have a meltdown if I was in an actual Japanese sanrio.

@weirdzfully Ikr? my mom strongly opposes it, but my dad who doesnt let me do anything actully agrees with me. When I first found out,I'd been in going for 1 yr. Me and my ma were talking and she wants me to only do a semester, and my dad agrees with her. But I somehow got my dad to think about a yr, and im 14 andid go /my/ freshman yr in highschool (leave april near end and turn 16 while there) im really suprised it might be a maybe but sum how my mom has final say in everything -_________-
Hello there Journey. I think it is amazing that you got to go to Japan, but I was wondering, did you have a hard time convincing your parents to let you go? because I sure am.

@weirdzfully Not at all. It's always been my dream, and my parents are very supportive of that. My mom is actually the one who told me about it. I was the one in disbelief, saying "You'd really let me live with strangers for a month?" She was like "But you've always wanted to go." I'm really lucky. ^^

@koreanjapanesegirl Yeah most people don't dress like that in Japan but since my sisters were doing it I guess it wasn't that bad to them. >,<
