Calvin Willis and Rickey Johnson served two decades together in Louisiana prison before DNA testing proved them both innocent. They lost touch in prison, and finally met up in March for the first time in years. This video captures their meeting.

  • The fact that cases such as these have not garnered national attention is deplorable.

  • God bless these men and the Innocence Project.

  • two innocent men incarcerated for over twenty years for crimes they didnt commit!!! disgraceful. how many more such people are in prison for things they didnt do? they dont seem to bear hatred or malice to the people who were responsible for putting them in prison, truly inspirational! god only knows what i would have done in their place.........

  • I'm going to be donating money to the innocence project because they do really good work

  • @indianellis

If this loving God were in control, this would have never happened to him. Think for a minute.

  • The man is not mad, because he just got out

after while when he relaise what he done lost, he will not be happy anymore

the government makes black man sometimes think if they get nothing it is all right

  • Bless these men. I wish they got a million a year for every year they were locked up.

  • Oh wow! so they got 6grand for each year they served what a joke! They should never have to work a day in thier lives. Poor guys!

  • I was born and raised in Louisiana and this makes me so ashamed to say that. It makes me sick to my stomach to think of what these men and their families went through. The state of Louisiana and the morons who prosecuted these men should have to publicly apologize to them and pay them for every day they spent in prison plus damages. They can never truly repay these men enough for what they lost. The state of Louisiana took away their lives and all they held dear.

    May God bless the innocent.

  • If I had my way they would each have been awarded several million dollars not just 150 grand, that way not only could they enjoy their friendship for the rest of their lives but they could enjoy being multimillionaires together, they should be able to easily be able to fly around the planet in the first class section staying in fancy hotels and eating at five star restaurants and staying in luxury hotels, the state should have to compensate them that much.

  • God bless you Calvin and Rickey. Fuck Louisiana for not formally apologizing to you guys for taking 20+ years from you. They owe you a lot more than $150,000. I wish there was a charity for you guys so i could donate some money. I hope you guys and everyone else wrongfully accused gets some justice in this world and the next.
