sad day indeed, of all the places, huge part of N. Seattle's history, I am pretty sure I was in every venue it ever morphed into, getting loaded and watching Paul Rogers to playing Blackjack tournaments, sad just sad, I thought that place was protected by the historical society? I remember when the casino bought it they couldn't alter the acoustics at all, they had to remodel around them..
