  • Doesn't Freddie discourage the use of the rear brake?

  • @DocPhotop When he ride the 2st racers, always uses the rear brake. But I do not know when he ride a 4st racers . However, VFR750F if equipped with a back torque limiter, I guess he is supposed to use the rear brake.

  • @fastdruid- The 750 says 750 below the VFR on the lowers. The 700 just says VFR. So the bike shown is a 750 (see 0:42). Clocks were different between F and F2 versions. In the US there were no 750F2; if you see the square F2 clocks (see 2:35) on a US bike, it's a 700. This is a non-US 750F2. AFAIK all 87s were F2. In 86 they made both F and F2. At least in the US. I have owned an 86 750F and an 87 700F2. I still have the 87, but now it has a 750. Also had a 92.

  • @critchley3819 They have a thick rubber pad on their knee, they do that to judge their lean angle! Kenny Roberts started this in the mid 1970's I believe!

  • Body hanging off, head and upper body compensating the other way. That seems like poor form for Freddie? Maybe doesnt trust the bike/tires?

  • whats the idea about hanging the leg out, makes no sense.

  • @vettper There are at least two bikes and as its in the US despite the title who knows if it was a 750 or the 700 version (plus I don't know if the clocks are different). As streethassled says they were '87 season leathers probably shot in '87.

  • @DocPhotop Laguna Seca raceway. Obvious from the corkscrew! I suspect this is original or the longer version of the "1986 VFR intercepter" promo.

No back torque limiter on the VFR750F RC24. While there are (at least) two VFR's here, a race bike (No: 10 @1.03 and 3.20) and (at least) one road bike and while the race bike probably did have a back torque limiter the footage shows indicators so its not the race bike.

Also looks like the fairing was taken off to get the rear brake footage!

  • Super!! Great bike. I love this bike. My is black. It's 1989
