Installing Christmas Lights - Andy Bell of Handyman Matters tells us about energy efficient power cords and light options for the holidays. Thicker, more weather durable cords use less energy, putting the lights on a timer is another good way to lower your holiday energy bill. He also found some hooks to hang the lights so that you don't have to put any nails into the siding. Plugging all the lights into a power switch allows you to turn them all on and off at once. Handyman Matters can put your lights up for you and we take them down for free!

  • Hanging lights can be a pain that is for sure. Its nice to know there are companies that love to do just that. Hanging lights is a great job for seasonal crews that need work during the winter months. Find out more at my site on how to become a Professional Christmas Light Installer.
