You've got to admit this, Oceanic are not, and never were, Liverpool's best. Furthermore, isn't Jorinde (pronounced "Yo-rin-tah") well into her 40s now?

I close my eyes and listen to this, and I can hear the dry ice machine filling the dance floor and I can see the strobe light. Kids being kids. Brilliant.

They are actually from the Wirral. I saw the lead singer pissed off her head in RJ's nightclub in about 1994 & when the dj played this tune she ran up and grabbed the Mic off him to start singing, but she fell into the turntable and all the music went off! The DJ made a proper twat of her.
