I still haven't found what I'm looking for, is the song I am singing from U2. I love the title as well as the music. I feel I would sound better if the sound system was stronger and had more bass. Anyway I enjoy just singing this and hope you will like it. I am still wearing wrist bands from the CUP DAY in Christchurch yesterday. The yellow one is from the Christchurch casino for the bus ride to and from the races. And we missed the bus back and got in a wrong bus hahaaa. That was fun, betting without knowing which is which..

  • Yeah, I know about the Uvea's ppl and how they got to Vava'u. I guess you were supposed to be with/belonged to the Methodist church. You were kicked out of Uvea because the older brother (King) wanted you to join his church...the Catholic church, but you didn't. Falaleu now are mostly catholic people...I believe. My grandpa's name is likely an Uvea one..(Puli'uvea)..which my brother was named after. And he married a lady named Lavelua....(my grandma) weird. About the duet? How nice...but how?

  • @KingKenutu Io e!!! I knew we were family.. Kelela (my sister) her full name is Kelela Lavelua... so we must be family lol. thats the story i heard Fauese telling us, re that religious split. And re the karaoke, we choose a song pea ta taki hiva ki ai pea toki fakataha leva, I will have to try first. Maybe you sing your 'blue' part like in the karaoke, pea li mai kia au, and then I sing into it, pea finalise leva.. Exciting, so what song do you like. ?Up where we belong is an example

  • Falaleu? Humm, never crossed my mind that you're from Vava'u too. Anyway, loved your videos and your singing styles. Keep it up... You'll soon come up on NZ got talents. As for me..I am still trying to sing so I can post one, at least. Much love, P. A.

  • @KingKenutu hooi, malo e tu'u mai 'o kaunga youtube. Yes, did you not remember the Falaleu ppl? Not that I got the Falaleu spirit but I could feel it in all mafana crazy Falaleu ppl.. Because we lived with lots in havelu.Did I tell you Fauese (father) used to say, All of you are little princesses and princes haha. and i believed him and when I checked, yes the king of Uvea at the time had the name of some of us.. haha ... Hey P, i was thinking ke ta practise ha duet,,ppl do that well.

  • Hey Mele

Look at the bracelets I am still wearing from the CUP DAY adventure yesterday in Christchurch.. Haha we never got the bus back to the casino...I could not cut them off today yet..

  • I have to think...hard for a song,... too much for my little brain...ha ha ha ha. So what song? Hummm, too many eh? lol. You know, I haven't been to a Karaoke for a long time...and even when I went, I was just sitting there and enjoyed ppl's singing. But you inspired me to try..it's like I'm reaching for an old and out of tune instrument and play with it. So, this weekend, it's my ST Andrew's HS Reunion here in SF..perhaps I will sing here. It's better in front of a live audience. lol.
