Did the apostles marry, no, they traveled to bring God's word & the life of Jesus Christ to all of His people. In the same way, priests from the generation to generation to come will continue to sacrifice their lives for our salvation. We should all pray for our priests.

@AlbertaJCW001 I am a catholic who knows very well that a) Jesus Christ was a Jew, b) the apostles were Jews, c) Paul died in Rome after a long travel as a captive of the Roman Empire, d) the events mentioned in the gospel happened where today the state of Israel is placed. Who should share the stupid idea that the apostles were Italian? Peter and Paul died in Rome, Thomas died in India. So what?

The last time I checked I the books of the Old Testament were included in my bible.
