Joe: *Thinking* Where is she? *Then he sees someone on a bench in front of the hospital and walks over to them*
Beccy: Joe, was I too harsh on her?
Joe: No! *Sits next to her and pulls her into a hug* You werent at all. You just told her the truth.
Beccy: Then why do I feel guilty?
Joe: I dont know. *Clueless* Pregnancy mood swings?
Beccy: *Laughs* We better get back in and see if there is any news about Nick. But dont expect me to talk to her!
Joe: I dont. *Smiles* Come on. *They walk back into the hospital*

*In the waiting room*

Dr.: Im afraid there is only a 45% chance that Nick will wake up from the coma. The wound went through some vital organs.
Larry: *In tears* Can I see him? *Looks at Denise* Is that okay?
Denise: Of course it is sweetheart. She can go in right?
Dr.: Yes. He is in room 406 *Walks out*
Larry: *Walks to Nicks room and when she walks in starts crying again* No, Nick! *Runs up to him and sees an oxygen tube down his throat and loads of wires everywhere*
Nurse: *Walks in to check on Nick and sees Larry* You know sweetheart, he can hear you. Most coma patients can.
Larry: *Teary* He can?
Nurse: Yeah, its been known to help them wake up.
Larry: Thanks.
Nurse: No problem. *Walks out*
Larry: Nick, the nurse said you can hear me so I dunno but, I want you to know I love you and that you promised me you wouldnt leave me! *Starts crying again* And I really need to hear your voice again. Please wake up!
Denise: *Comes in and hugs her*
Larry: *Hugs back and sobs into her shoulder*

*A few minutes later*

Larry: *Pulls back* I am being really selfish; I mean he is your son; Im just his girlfriend.
Denise: *Smiles at her* You didnt hear him when he didnt see you for a week. He actually counted the hours until he could see you.
Larry: *Laughs* I cant believe he did that!
Nick: *Weak* I did
Larry & Denise: *Spin around and look at him* Nick?!
Nick: *Weak* The one and only! *Smiles*
Denise: *Hugs him* Thank God youre okay!! I have to go tell your dad! *Runs out*
Nick: *Looks at Larry* Do I get a hug?
Larry: *Crying goes up to him and hugs him* The doctor said there was only a 45% chance youd wake up!
Nick: I made a promise *Smiles and leans in to kiss her*
Kevin: *Runs in* Bro! Youre awake!!!!
Nick: *Laughs* Im awake!

Everyone else runs in.

Beccy: NICK!!!
Nick: *Laughs and hugs her*
Joe: Whyd you step in front of me bro?
Nick: You got a kid coming!
Joe: Doesnt mean you have to risk your life! *Hugs him*
Paul: *Walks in*
Nick: DAD!!!
Paul: *Hugs him* Whyd you let yourself get stabbed?
Nick: Joe has a kid coming
Paul: Doesnt mean you have to risk your life. You couldve just knocked him out!
Nick: I didnt think of that.
