now the funny thing is- i first heard slayer when i was listenting to the Tommy Vance radio show- they were live and i was about 12 years old sitting under a rain swept brolly tent.. i thought at the time - what a noisy bunch ! shut the F up! however that may have been the 2 quid radio and the force 7 wind.. Since then i have and always will class them as the root of all good music- i love what they made me appreciate in a round about way! Jeff- fingers crossed you recover soon,,,Tom
