@weatherexpert2 No problem! I hope you found you liked it and got a lot of use out of it over the past three years! :)

@ninjasheriff96 Although TTSReader does only come with one voice, you have the option to download more voices for the software on the developer's site. I just might download NaturalReader and give it a go against my current text-to-speech software though.

I tryed TTSReader,But i really didnt like it because it only had One Voice. I like NaturalReader

Compared to Windows Movie Maker, I believe it's a better video making and editing. First of all, Windows Movie Maker comes free with the Windows XP and Vista Operating Systems, so you can't really expect it to have the same features as paid video software would. I would highly recommend you give it a free run just to see how you like it. It's developed by Newsoft and is available for a direct download of the free trial! I can almost guarantee you will be very satisfied with this product!

i found out about TTSreader, and i just got, but i still need to try out presto video works, whats it like compared to windows movie maker?

I got the ticker at the top of the screen by using a program called Presto! VideoWorks. It is a paid program, but there is a free trial available on their site if you'd like to try it out! It gives you many options when making and editing video, such as moving the ticker exactly where you want it to be in the video and so much more. It's pretty cool! The TTS program I use is TTSReader. It's a great program that has a large library of downloadable voices and, best of all, it's free!

how did you get the warning crawl to go on the top and not the bottom of the screen? is this windows movie maker?
which text-to-speech program are you using? btw nice job with the warning

I've been looking online for the best text-to-speech converter for a while now and so far the best one I've come across is TTSReader. It comes with a large selection of free voices built right in, and the best part is, it's all free! I think it's great and I'm going to be sticking with it for a while until something even better comes along!

Thanks! :)

I sure will!

I've seen a lot of videos on youtube that use AT&T Natural Voices, especially in the mock watches and warnings category. I've also notices their videos have been posted on here for over a year in some cases without getting any contact from youtube or AT&T, but I just didn't want to take any chances myself, so I think I'm just going to stick with finding other text-to-speech programs on the internet anyway. They may not sound as good as AT&T's, but they should still be just fine.
-
It Wasn't Commercial Ues, Buddy. Everyone Uses AT&T Natural Voices, And They Never Got Into Trouble. But You Made A Good Point.
-
I've been looking for a good free voice myself. If you do find a good free voice, Please let me know!

I spent a while looking for a good text-to-speech tool for the announcer's voice. This was the best one I found which had this voice. It had the most realistic sounding voices for free that I found on the internet. I might go browsing again to see if I can find a better one. As for the scroll bar freezing, that is a feature in my video editing software (more of an annoyance actually.) I don't know how to disable that, or even if there's a way to. I've spent a while trying to figure that out.
-
I didn't want to delete "My Mock EAS Test", but I found out I needed to before I got into trouble. The announcer voice was from the AT&T natural voice selections, which is still in development right now, and when I went back to their home page and read the usage policy for the voices, I found out it strictly stated "only non-commercial use." I just wanted to get rid of it before I got contact from either youtube or them.

Good, But Please Don't Delete Any More Of Your Videos. There Good Enough.
nice job
