TAYATE OM GATE GATE PARAGATE PARASAMGATE BODHI SOHA. the mantra of transcendental wisdom, the mantra that goes beyond, the mantra that reminds us of the true nature of all phenomena: that all depends on the mind: form, sensation, perception...experience is lived in accordance with one's state of mind. Through the influence of this mantra, the wisdom that comprehends emptiness is suggested and evoked. Let us reflect on the following while we listen to this track: once we decide that we want to work to attain ever more lasting states of happiness, we raise the specific dilemma of ascertaining what brings us closer and what drives us farther from it. It may seem initially that happiness lies without, that to be happy we depend on a favourable combination of external circumstances. If we are not attentive, it may even seem to us that he world is the direct cause of the state in which we find ourselves at this moment. But is this truly the case? Do things feel the same to you when you are happy as when you are unhappy? Surely not. Have you ever thought that if you were always in a state of wellbeing, life would not hurt you so much? When you reach the understanding that happiness depends on one's own work and that it cannot be achieved without one's own direct effort, that is when one's mind is opened to the search for what is truly important and rejects what is less so. This search is very personal, and clarity, acuteness and attention are needed in order for it to be fruitful. Let us allow the influence of this mantra to bring us closer to emptiness.
