@spiritwalker30 During the worst period in our countrys history - the famine which started in 1845 during which millions of our people either perished from "needless" starvation or emigrated on what became known as coffin ships from our island, it was the Choctaw tribe who from meagre resources in 1847 raised funds of $170 to help relieve the starvation.
