@xaayer Maybe, but considering what he's lost (to me, J'Onn is worse off than Batman) and Morgana was forcing him to FEEL those things as well as see them (he's kept this bottled up for centuries) I can still sympathize and not blame him.

@ShadowSonic2 The way that scene unfurled alludes to him telling them part of his origin. in part 2 when J'onn is taken over and has to be rescued, Etrigan tells him she basically can put up mental illusions. There is no argument against the fact that J'onn was pretty much an idiot for the entire ep.

@xaayer I'm saying he lied to them about his own origins, and only told Batman about how she would use their desires against them.

@ShadowSonic2 What does any of that have to do with this episode?? Etrigan told the team the danger and J'onn just ignored it all till the end.

@xaayer This version of Etrigan first was in the Batman/Superman show (he was voiced by Billy Zane and they fought Klarion the Witch Boy).

@ShadowSonic2 ...what? Robin was never in this episode nore was he in JLU. He was in teen titans.

@xaayer I don't think he ever told them what happened to him, in his intro episode he tells Robin a way different story (he was a hero chosen by Merlin) as to how he became Etrigan than what we saw in this episode. J'Onn is probably the only guy now who knows the truth.
