People, would you believe that I've started listening to Mr. C. in Communist Poland in 1956?! I owe him my life-long dedication to jazz , my love for the old US of A and, even more importantly, my English

Ohhh yes I do remember. Every evening at 11:00PM (Leningrad's time) I was glued to the radio receiver (19 m, 25m, 31m on short wave scale) to enjoy the velvet voice of my teacher Willie. G-d bless his soul...

I used to listen to the jazz program from 1973, and his clear voice i will always remember.... what a surprize for me is that i was the first in Youtube that put Willis Conover here.... it took me years the find that recording...
