I AM JUMPING NOW! :D
I was riding at chesfield show jumping (18/10/09) 70cm (2ft3). I was riding a good friend's horse for her as Tinka is lame and she wasn't very well and I thought that I was in with a good chance until we reached the wall. I rode it as well and positively as I could but that wasn't enough. It was only until three days later that I clearly remebered the accident. I was taken away in an ambulance and the doc said that I had badly pulled the muscles in my neck and that I had badly bruised my hip. I have had another lesson yesterday but I found it sooooo hard to get back on :( will I ever jump again? I don't know
I would like to say thank you to every one who looked after me when I was in a lot of pain and overcome by shock and fear.
soo thankyou xxxxx
Also I want to thank everyone who checked up on me afterwards.
Thanks to Susie and Coral who got me back on Giz again
and to also DAWN!!!!
xxxx
I am jumping again :D
Listen to the thud when I hit the floor!!!

  • Hellooo! I was wondering. could I use this in my video? I would give you credit! :)

  • @22HoofBeats Go for it

  • Aw you were doing so well. Glad you're jumping again, I fell off a few times but it didn't knock my confidence. Although I got bitten by a horse once on my shoulder so it was badly bruised for a week and since then I'm scared to go close to horses I don't know. :/

  • @MrsPokerfacex0 Ouch!! That sounds painfull!!!

  • wow i'm glad your ok now! just a little tip NOT critism i don't want to sound mean but when you smacked him on the line at 0:54 , hitting him behind the saddle is a lot more effective. and maybe not as hard. but other than that you guys looked great until the fall. i'm glad your ok! :)

  • @ThrillOfRiding Okay I will git it ago :) thank you :) xx

  • the reason it didn't do the jump is because it was a cow pretending to be a horse.

  • YOUR HORSE IS AMAZING!!! Are you still riding her? I love that breed, sooo pretty. I think you did pretty well considering that you hadn't been taking lessons. I hope you are okay now and back in the saddle!!

  • Yea the horse says "screw this chick Im out of here!"

Sorry, I was jus kidding, glad ur ok

  • u did gr8 I love how you made the horse go when it almost stopped

  • @tinkersboyandhanni I still think you did a wonderful job!

  • thats not that bad

i have been rolled on top of before

  • @22HoofBeats

I couldn't agree more! I was taught to use the crop only when the house didn't respond to my legs, it is fine to use a crop when riding. I don't understand why people say its not allowed or whatever..

  • Oh, and also all of these people saying "Dont use a crop" and "why did you HIT your horse" blah blah blah. Go away! You are allowed to use a crop! I have never been told not to! Maybe your riding instructor is different (obviously!) But no need to criticize! oh BTW.. you ARE allowed to use the crop on the shoulder. because that is where almost EVERYONE starts off! It IS more effective behind the riders leg. but it is not compulsory!
