@gadgetcompass More RAM and a bigger hard drive won't make your Mac faster, you should know that. More RAM is to keep your Mac fast while doing heavy tasks.
Even the CPU isn't that important, the reading speed and accessing time for the hard disk/SSD determine the boot-up speed.
