Hi!
Well, here it is: An overdue acknowledgement of another's immense generosity and my own attempt to express deep honor because of it.
It was earlier durng my current Jazz At The Philharmonic presentation that John - a.k.a. fellow YouTube user "the1950sjazzfan" - and I were in a conversation about JATP recordings and the fact that he had attended several JATP concerts on his side of the pond (John's in the UK) when he mentioned a few things he'd kept from those concerts. AND, while trying to keep my jaw from going through the floor, he said he'd be happy to send these things to me someday before he (paraphrase) "went to that big JATP concert in the sky".
What this man did by entrusting such priceless and irreplaceable treasures to me is a personal honor that's completely beyond words - I only hope that this video at least begins to pay tribute to John and the simply wonderful & wonderous gesture he's bestowed upon me by entrusting me with these items of true history.
These are a part of John's life - I am only but a loving caretaker.
I ask you to please take some time to swing by his channel here:

And, within this tribute is also a few shouts & thanks. ;)
Love you back, Mark, and the Doo-rag is working well! Always looking forward to jazz with my tea in the morning from you!
