Top 5 Music Tracks: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

Ok...you had to have seen this coming! As one final tribute to this great game, this video features my selections for the top 5 songs (in order) in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was subsequently remade for the Game Boy Advance and ported to the Virtual Console. With the first DKC game being just a success, it was hard to believe that a sequel could top it. However, while DKC defined a platformer, DKC2 perfected many elements of it, with its dark themes, great graphics, creative level design, increased difficulty level and an epic soundtrack that fit the level environments perfectly. Needless to say, it was very difficult to choose the top 5 tracks here, since most of them are simply phenomenal. This was one of the highlights of the Rare/Nintendo co-operation and it is a game that everyone should experience.

I honestly think that diddy kings quest is the best donkey kong game made. It is probably a top 3 snes game ever made. Solid fun game that takes a while if your a perfectionist, beatable if your not a perfectionist.
