@cladiax1 interesting, I actually take x-plane BECAUSE it is more realistic.

hehehe the altitude clock is spinning rapidly i wonder how many feet high??
-
at this bad resolution, x-plane looks incredible realistic and awesome.

Scratch that.... 1,658,800 ft. just reached last night. It all has to do with trajectory, thrust, and weight. Shooting for 1.7 million ft today
-
I just reached an altitude of 800250 on x plane with the x15 on my droid phone

2:55 = Tipycal movie scene, lol

SPAAAAAAACE!

Cool :-)

If my laptop can run FS2004 on high, which version of X-Plane could it run? (even on low-med would be ok)

Please, use a screencapture!

@callofdutyman47 watch the outer limits episode the premonition in the movie X-15 with charles bronson the stars come out in the daytime which is as it should be when your flying that high

@callofdutyman47 File > load situation > air drop

i just got x-plane 9 and have tried the air drop, but cant figure it out, my engine cuts in and out and the plane is impossible to fly, how do you do a proper air drop
vivaSchumi7 2 years ago
@vivaSchumi7 yeah I know that problem, the engine easily cuts off when you make too much negative g's. Try to avoid using the elevator the first moments. U can use the trim to get a good setup for the drop. You could also try to throttle up slowly. Sometimes it happens that the engine cuts off.

also, it worked, but i cant get passed mach 2, is there an afterburner or something?
vivaSchumi7 2 years ago
@vivaSchumi7 you actually have afterburner all the time :-))
Yes, Mach 2 is difficult to reach, best way to get high altitude is to dive a little, get speed and then slowly pull up at approx. Mach 2.
