Location:
This complex is located in the historic centre of the town, only a few streets away from museums, churches, shops, and artisan markets. The nearest bus station, ADO, is situated about 15 minutes away, while it is about 30 minutes to the Vistahermosa golf course and the Monte Albánin archaeological area, and 40 minutes to the Mitla archaeological site. Guests will reach Oaxaca airport in approximately 20 km.

Facilities:
This charming complex is housed in the former Santa Catalina de Siena convent, a true jewel of 16th century architecture. Constructed in 1576, the hotel comprises a total of 91 rooms, 39 single rooms, one disability-friendly room, and six junior suites, all spread across two storeys. Guests are offered a welcoming lobby with a reception desk manned around the clock, a safe, a cloakroom and currency exchange desk. Further facilities here include the El Refectorio restaurant, a breakfast room, a theatre, a conference room, the Las Novicias bar, and a shop. It is also possible to make use of the public Internet connection, the W-LAN access point, the room and laundry services, the launderette facilities, and the medical assistance. Parking is available for those arriving by car.

Rooms:
In this historic structure, each room is unlike any other but all provide modern comfort in a colonial-style setting. Guests may relax in rooms with high ceilings, carpets, and natural colour linen and curtain textiles from the local manual weaving mill. All of the wheelchair-accessible rooms come with a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. In addition, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, an Internet connection, tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar, a hire safe, an iron and ironing board, and either a balcony or terrace are also provided in all accommodation units as standard. The air conditioning can be individually adjusted.

Sports/Entertainment:
The outdoor complex features a heated swimming pool as well as a childrens paddling area and both sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. A snack bar is also available here. The unique traditional La Guelaguetza festival offers dances from the seven regions of the state, the Vientocon band and its 14 musicians, and a substantial evening buffet with typical traditional dishes. The fiesta unfolds every Friday (more often in high season) on the stage in the hotel's 16th century chapel.

Meals:
Guests may serve themselves at the breakfast buffet. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may select dishes from an à la carte menu. Bed and breakfast is bookable.
